Call for Papers
The organizing of the 19th International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing — ISPDC 2020 5–8 July in Warsaw has been seriously disturbed by the prolonged corona virus pandemic in Poland and in other countries over the world. The time when the standard conference based on safe personal visits to Poland could take place seems to be practically unpredictable. Therefore, the ISPDC 2020 Chairs regret very much to take the decision to change the conference format and to organize the ISPDC 2020 as an on-line conference via the Internet at the same time as planned before i.e. 5–8 July 2020. Following that, we extend the deadline for paper submissions until 11 May 2020. The ISPDC 2020 organizers will enable on-line presentations of accepted papers by their authors via the Internet during the conference sessions accessible to the conference participants. The presented papers will be published in the post-conference electronic proceedings.
We keep cordial invitations of all the interested in parallel/distributed system methodology to contribute to the 19th International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Computing — ISPDC 2020, by submitting papers. The conference will support the development of parallel and distributed computing techniques and the respective system technology by quick distribution of new ideas and concepts via the electronic media. The ISPDC 2020 conference organized on-line will provide a wide international forum for these purposes with an interactive and friendly professional atmosphere.
The 19th ISPDC event will follow successful previous editions in different venues since 2002. You are invited to read the ISPDC 2020 description on the conference web page https://ispdc2020.ipipan.waw.pl/.

Paper submission:
You are invited to submit original papers of up to 8 pages, written in English and compliant with the IEEE format (8.5″x11″, two-column). Accepted papers will be submitted for the possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore®. Submissions must be PDF files.
To have an accepted paper published in the ISPDC 2020 Proceedings, the paper must be presented on-line at the conference. For this, at least one of the authors is required to register for the conference at the full rate which for the electronic ISPDC 2020 format is considerably lower than for the standard conference. Best paper awards will be granted to paper(s) receiving the highest quality rating from the Reviewers and the Program Committee. The authors of the highest quality papers will be invited to prepare extended paper versions for publication in selected journals through fast publication tracks.
Paper submissions should be made using exclusively EasyChair submission window (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ispdc2020).
Important dates:
Papers submission final deadline: March 23/April 20 May 11, 2020 (anywhere on Earth)
Paper acceptation notification: May 11/June 2 June 9, 2020
Author registration start: June 9, 2020
Early registration of non-authors: June 9, 2020
Camera ready papers due/end of author registration: June 26, 2020
ISPDC 2020 Symposium: July 5—8, 2020
